Compliance, Corporate law Register of personal data Comments are off

With the entry into force of the Law on the digitization of the national economy, the obligation of personal data operators to notify the National Center for Personal Data Protection and the obligation to keep the Register of personal data operators was excluded.

The adoption of the new law led to the liquidation of the Register of records of personal data operators, by the irreversible destruction of documents and information stored on paper and those stored in electronic format.

As of 10 January 2022, access to the register of personal data controllers has therefore been closed.

Recommendation: Inform the person authorized to manage personal data about removing the requirements for registration as a personal data processor.
